I wondered how long it would take for the ACLU (Another Cult Loosed Under) to rear it's head on this, again.

I had actually checked this out a year ago when I heard of the National Council On Bible Curriculum In Public Schools. It was found to be totally constitutional and I found the concept actually interesting.

I personally get aggravated when we hear of the mandatory teachings of Islam as opposed to this voluntary class.

I think both classes can be taught as literature (islam and christianity), but I also do not think anyone outside the circle would fully trust what exactly would be taught.

Too bad ACLU supports one religion over another. Their bias is blantant at best.

I suggest everyone to check out the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools website and request the material to see exactly what it's all about. At least this would be a voluntary decision on your part.
